If I were a boy, I’d ask my girlfriend for a dinner or coffee the day she came home after a long trip from somewhere and not play basketball and hang out with my friends til 1 in the morning because seeing her is more important to me.

If I were a boy, I’ll go straight to her the moment I heard that she’s not feeling well and bring her medicines or food that might make her better.

If I were a boy, I’d call my girlfriend because I miss her so much and I won’t be silent for ten minutes and chat with somebody else because that won’t mean what I feel.

But I am not a boy and they say that people in a relationship should not expect so I’ll just bury these thoughts here and pretend that everything’s fine.

Don’t just ignore the effort of a person who tries to keep in touch. People get tired and it’s not at all times they hold on…
